Group Registration Discounts

Available only to NHA member organizations who are not exhibiting.
Per-person discounts off the NHA Member rate for the “standard” or “asset owner” registration type are available.

You qualify if:
• Your organization is an NHA member (click HERE for NHA member directory)
• You are registering 5 or more employees at the “standard” or “asset owner” registration type

Eligibility Notes:
• Each registrant must be an employee of the company/organization (NOT clients, vendors, contractors, etc.)
• Each registrant must be purchasing a “Standard” registration (NOT speaker, exhibitor, or single day registration types)

Professional Development Hours

Earn meaningful certification for professional development—Clean Currents will offer 13.5 professional development hours to attendees. A certificate will be sent to all attendees after the event.

Each year at Clean Currents, the NHA Hydropower Technical Community (HTC) hosts a networking dinner for anyone interested in operational excellence, dam safety, and/or project O&M.

Speakers from across the industry in all stages of their careers will discuss from the best career advice to the biggest challenges they’ve faced, to what young professionals look for in an office environment.

This ticketed event is open to all Clean Current attendees.

Updating and/or Adding Items to Your Existing Registration

• Please use this link to log in to your existing registration.
  • You will need to log in using the email address associated with your registration and your Registrant ID or Confirmation Code (both can be found within your confirmation email, but if you cannot find either please email registration@hydro.org)
• Once logged in you can edit/update your registration, add items to your registration and submit payment via credit card.

Pay Later Policy

By selecting the “Pay Later” option at checkout during the online registration process, attendees can register now and pay at a later date. However, all “Pay Later” registrations must be paid in full by October 6, 2023 or the registration will be canceled.

Media Waiver

NHA intends to take photographs and video of this event for use in NHA news and promotional material, in print, electronic and other media, including the National Hydropower Association website. By participating in this event, I grant NHA the right to use any image, photograph, voice or likeness, without limitation, in its promotional materials and publicity efforts without compensation. All media become the property of NHA. Media may be displayed, distributed or used by NHA for any purpose.

Cancellation Policy

Requests for refunds will be honored only if received by the National Hydropower Association in writing to registration@hydro.org on or before September 22, 2023. A $50 processing fee will apply to all canceled registrations. There will be no refunds for requests received after September 22, 2023.  No-shows and onsite registrations are non-refundable.

Substitution Policy

Substitutions are permitted and must be submitted in writing to registration@hydro.org. Please include the original attendee’s name and the substitute’s full contact information.

Meeting Conduct Policy

As a professional society, the National Hydropower Association is committed to providing an atmosphere that encourages the free expression and exchange of ideas. Consistent with this commitment, it is the policy of NHA that all participants in NHA activities will enjoy a welcoming environment, free from unlawful discrimination, harassment and retaliation, and comply with NHA’s anti-trust policy. All participants in NHA activities also agree to comply with all rules and conditions of the activities, which are subject to change. This policy applies to all participants in NHA activities, including but not limited to event attendees, students, guests, staff, contractors, exhibitors, sponsors, and participants in sessions, tours, and other social events of any NHA meeting or other activity.

All individuals must behave responsibly in NHA activities in which they participate. Threatening physical or verbal actions and disorderly or disruptive conduct will not be tolerated. Harassment, including verbal comments relating to gender, sexual orientation, disability, race, ethnicity, religion, age, national origin, gender identity or expression, veteran status or other protected status, or sexual images in public spaces, deliberate intimidation, stalking, unauthorized or inappropriate photography or recording, inappropriate physical contact, and unwelcome sexual attention, will not be tolerated. All individuals participating in NHA activities must comply with these standards of behavior.

Violations should be reported to the organizer of the activity. In NHA’s sole discretion, unacceptable behavior may result in removal or denial of access to meeting facilities or activities, and other penalties, without refund of any applicable registration fees or costs. In addition, violations may be reported to the individual’s employer. Repeat offenders may be banned from future NHA activities.

Anti-Trust Compliance Statement

While we believe that the ultimate goals of this meeting are procompetitive, it is essential that we observe certain ground rules when we conduct meetings involving entities that are, or may be viewed as, competitors.

As participants in this meeting, we need to be mindful of the constraints of applicable antitrust or competition laws.  Competitors generally may not limit competition among themselves through understandings or agreements regarding the production, sale or distribution of their products or services or otherwise unreasonably restrain trade.  Accordingly, this meeting shall not be used as a means for discussing, exchanging information about or reaching any understanding or agreement, formal or informal, among competitors or potential competitors with regard to (i) rates; (ii) pricing or other terms and conditions of purchase or sale; (iii) limiting supplies of any good or service; (iv) marketing plans or (v) the allocation of customers served or territories covered.  The participants in this meeting also shall not engage in any discussion or take any action which might be construed as an attempt to prevent any vendor or competitor from gaining access to any market for goods or services or to prevent any vendor or competitor from obtaining a supply of goods or services freely in the market.  Any departure from these ground rules could result in severe civil and criminal penalties both as to individuals and their employers.

Any questions regarding the appropriateness of a line of discussion or other action should be referred to legal counsel.  All meeting participants are expected to observe the same standard of personal conduct with respect to informal conversations among themselves as they are required to observe in this meeting.

Liability Waiver + Be Well Agreement

As a condition of my participation in this meeting or event, I hereby waive any claim I may have against the National Hydropower Association and its officers, directors, employees, or agents, or against the presenters or speakers, for reliance on any information presented and release NHA from and against any and all liability for damage or injury that may arise from my participation or attendance at the program. I further understand and agree that all property rights in the material presented, including common law copyright, are expressly reserved to the presenter or speaker or to NHA. I acknowledge that participation in NHA events and activities brings some risk and I do hereby assume responsibility for my own well-being. If another individual participates in my place per NHA transfer policy, the new registrant agrees to this disclaimer and waiver by default of transfer.

I understand that travel and gathering involves risk of sickness, including sickness from COVID-19. I (and on behalf of my guest(s)) waive and release NHA and its sponsors and exhibitors, and their employees and agents, from and against claims, liabilities and expenses arising from injury, sickness or death from contraction or spread of COVID-19 or other communicable disease due to travel to or attendance at an event sponsored by NHA.

I will take necessary precautions while at the event including, but not limited to, engaging in appropriate social distancing, wearing a mask when requested and/or required, minimize face touching, frequently washing hands and avoiding risky environments such as overcrowded bars or restaurants. I agree to not attend any NHA event if I feel ill or had recent exposure to a COVID-19 case.
